LeadBrief ("we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered real estate CRM platform designed for real estate agents. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, brokerage affiliation, and payment information (processed by Stripe).

Lead Data You Upload

You may upload CSV files or manually enter data about property owners. This data may include:

  • Property owner names (first and last)
  • Property addresses, cities, states, and ZIP codes
  • Phone numbers
  • Financial data such as equity percentages, estimated home values, and ownership duration
  • Do-Not-Call (DNC) status indicators

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the platform, including pages visited, features used, actions taken (such as calls made and scripts generated), and session duration.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the LeadBrief platform
  • Score and segment your leads using AI-powered analysis
  • Generate personalized calling scripts and outreach suggestions
  • Geocode property addresses for map-based territory management
  • Generate neighborhood research and talking points
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send service-related communications (e.g., billing receipts, account notifications)
  • Improve our platform and develop new features

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with the following protections:

  • Row-Level Security (RLS): Database policies ensure that each user can only access their own data. No user can view, edit, or delete another user's leads or account information.
  • Encryption at rest: All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
  • Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.
  • Authentication: Access is controlled through secure authentication tokens managed by Supabase Auth.

4. Who Can Access Your Data

Only you, the authenticated user who uploaded the data, can access your lead information, territories, scripts, and activity history. LeadBrief staff do not access your data except when required for technical support (with your permission) or to comply with legal obligations.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate LeadBrief:

  • Stripe -- Payment processing. Stripe receives your payment card details directly; we do not store card numbers on our servers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase -- Database hosting, authentication, and file storage. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
  • Anthropic -- AI model provider used for lead scoring, script generation, and neighborhood research. Lead data (such as address, equity, and ownership details) is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Maps Platform -- Geocoding addresses to coordinates for map display and territory management. See Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for reactivation, after which it may be permanently deleted. Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through your account settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

CCPA Rights (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

GDPR Rights (European Economic Area Residents)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data
  • Request erasure of your personal data
  • Restrict or object to processing of your personal data
  • Data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Authentication tokens are stored securely in your browser and are required for the service to function.

9. Children's Privacy

LeadBrief is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of LeadBrief after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
